Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
i have owned this bass for 3 years and its is really good. i play it with a pick and i got a good "megadeth" bass tone. i had played numbers of shows with this and it hasn't failed me...
Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
really good bass for the buck. played many shows with this bass before upgrading to another bass. it is a little neck heavy, so can be a wierd feel when you're moving around on stage at times, but sound is good; very decent bass. definitely worth the price.
Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
This is my first bass and it is amazing. The tone is great, the pickups are good, and it is comfortable to play. The only bad thing is that it can be hard to get around with it because of the shape, so it will probably get dinged up a bit. But overall this is a great bass and I would recommend it to anyone.
Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
I just bought this bass from a friend. He played this with a little 30 watt amp, in a band. It sounded amazing. He had it for about six months and got a new one. He decided to sell it and I bought it. I am in a hardcore/ metal band and it sounds amazing. It is a great deal!
Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
I've been playing bass for a year. I have played Fender and Ibanez basses but this bass is my favorite. The pickups are great, it sounds great, everything works perfect, it looks wicked. It's just all around a good bass and the best you can buy for your money. If your looking for a good bass at a good price, buy this one.The only thing about this bass I did not like was the fret buzz it had when I first got it. But with an adjustment of the truss rod, it works perfect.
Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
I've been playing bass for about 4 years and have played on a fender bass the whole time. So it came time to buy a new one I wanted a change, I bought this bass and it is a whole lot better then my fender. It has a deeper tone and plays great. It's a little heavy but nothing to get worked up about.
Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
First off, just look at the price tag. I was saving up for a Rickenbacker 4003 and told my brother, "the only way my next bass isn't a rickenbacker is if ESP comes out with an explorer bass." Next thing you know it's two weeks later, I see that ESP has a new bass. It was the EX-104 and I immediately ordered it and there was no disappointment when it showed up on my door step. I'm in a thrash metal band that plays pretty often and this thing has yet to fail me. I play it through a "crappy" Behringer 4x10 with a 450 watt head, but I couldn't ask for a better sound even through a CRAPPY Behringer 1x15 I borrowed from a fellow musician and you can get any tone you want from a Music Man to a P bass to a J bass to whatever you're looking for. This thing is amazing, especially for such a low price.
Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
I am just starting to learn to play Bass so I picked up this bass to save money instead of buying a starter kit then spending even more to get a good bass when I get really into it. So far I love this bass, the sound is great, has a solid look, and seemed like one of the best choices. Only complaint I got is the bass needed to have the neck adjusted once I got it.
Comments about ESP LTD EX104 Bass Guitar:
The ESP LTD EX104 is a good beginner?s Bass that will last a player a long time. I tried other guitar makes and models in store (including the AX-54 & AX-104) before I purchased this one and found it to compare with the more expensive models on the rack. The sound is good and strong with a nice crispness to it while the guitar?s sound is easily modified using effects pedals and amp effects. It really is a testament to the ESP LTD line and their ability to create a nice guitar with a reasonable price tag.I bought the ESP LTD EX104 in a factory sealed box with the strings nearly in tune and a perfect, bright shine to the finish. This guitar is something I can ?abuse and pound hard? when I needed to. I replaced the strings with D'Addario EXL230 Heavy Long Bass Strings and lowered the action as low as I could without causing buzz on the hard picking: The ESP LTD EX104 has created a unique, crisp sound when using fingers on the strings. On the downside: Like any guitar the manufacturer expects the factory strings to be abused a bit in the store, so replace them as soon as you get it. I have also had some problem getting a case to fit: only an ESP case built for it will fit the unusual ?Z design? shape of the ESP LTD EX104, and ESP has been making their cases so close to size that some come too small/tight for the guitar (loose factory tolerances?).Because of the unusual shape causing me problems to get a proper case I gave the features a 4.5. Rating the ESP LTD EX104 as a beginners guitar in the low-end price range, I can give it 5.0 overall.

Ive been playin bass guitar now for awhile now. and I can sure tell you this, this guitar rocks. It has the looks and it has the sound, the sound gives you that hard metal sound, and of course you can play classic with it as well. Its a great guitar. I own this esp and use it for alot of gigs I play around my area. OVerall its A FIVE STAR
