This bass has made me cry since I've purchased it. I bought it about 2 weeks ago and have not put it down since. It can go from that Gospel Groove to that Jazzy run, and than to that all out Funk. The controls give you soo much flexibility. I set all my controls to the middle position, except my treble (set slightly past mid)and volume all the way up. Its very easy to dial in your desired sound. Get this bass!!! It took me over a year to finally but it and I refuse to look back. The best bass I've ever purchased. I will challenge any other bass out there to a dual :)
i was lucky enough to play this bass at summerfest at the fender stand and it was awesome. it sounded great and is one of the best basses ive ever heard. i like everything about it. worth every penny.
Very versitile and light for a bass with this much punch. I'm a P-Bass player but this is the bass I pull out when I want that active Jazz bass sound yet still has a bit of a P-bass feel. The workmanship is excellent.
Got this as a Christmas Present (2004). Tobacco Sunburst in the QMT. Absolutely fantastic! This is without doubt the finest bass I have owned. The active electronics give You an almost limitless combination of tone. Beautifully put together (in America!). I highly recommend this beautiful instrument!
I have to say that Fender is right on with this one. The bass screams PLAY ME. The sound possibilities are endless and it has that wonderful Fender neck that I have always liked. My QMT is really, really nice and all the wood that is put into this bass is quality. It's about time Fender built a custom style bass for its line of production guitars.
