I loved playing this bass when I had it. It was stolen from my apartment while I was in class one day, I was devastated.
This bass played great, had awesome tone, and was affordable. The active Soap bar pick ups gave you a lot of tonal control and also didn't make that annoying *POP* when you slap and the string hits the pole piece on a Jazz or P bass.
I have been looking for one of these ever since my was taken, but I think nobody wants to sell theirs because they are such great basses!
Well, I had been playing an Ibanez GAXB150 for about 2 years but I decided I needed a new bass. So I went to a store, and I had my heart set for a jazz bass, but then I saw this beaty: I tried it and fell in love with it. Its amazing when it comes to slap and pop, and sounds great with a pick and with fingers. The Fender Dimension is the best there is. :D
This is one bad to the bone bass. Little distortion at high volumn. Neck is excellent for the harder riffs. I would recommned this axe to anyone. You wont go wrong with this bass. Very well worth the price tag. THis is one of the best bass guitar fender has manufactured to date.
This bass is well balanced. Has great ranges of tones from the active EQ and panning P and J pick ups. The deep cutaways give better access to the 24 frets. The sienna sunburst is a rich in color and matches the fretboard nicely.
Awesome Bass, Fast Neck, Incredible range of Tones, Beautiful Finish, Great Guitar, Had to adjust truss rod and action but no problem with the supplied tools and instructions. I`ve been playing this Bass for a year now and I`m very pleased with my puchase.
The range of sounds I can get from this Bass is limitless. I am extremely thrilled with it and it has completed my search for "that sound"! I did have to have a considerable amount of work done on the neck and had to replace the nut right from the factory. once I got it set up, it plays sensational!
The quality of this Bass is excellent. The range of tones is virtually endless. I really like the balance and overall weight of the Bass. It is lighter than a Standard Precision or Jazz Bass. The cutouts allow full access to the 24 frets with ease. This Bass will provide years of enjoyment to both the novice and experienced player. The Sienna Sunburst is remarkable in color.
Perfect Bass for my needs, I play Rock and blues, with Jazz Styles. This Bass plays it all. Great package and awesome looking as well.
