Amazing and sexy

Features:

This is a very awesome bass. I have been wanting it for a while and I finally got it at around Christmas time in 2011. I played it at a local music store a few times, and I fell in love with it. It's got an awesome tone to it, and it's pretty much the perfect tone for the music I play. Which happens to be pop- punk.

Quality:

Good action, great tone, and it looks very sexy.

Value:

Definitley worth the price. It's a tad expensive, but it's totally worth the price.

Overall:

Just a fantastic bass. I have purchased the surf green transparent model, and I am considering buying the other model. I have been a HUGE blink- 182 fan for a long time, and Mark Hoppus is pretty much my idol.

Features:

it's pretty simple.great for punk rock or any kind of rock in general

Quality:

it's a fender enough said

Value:

I would give it a 11 if I could

Overall:

I play in a punk band.and this bass is perfect for punk.I have owned several Fender Precision and Jazz basses over the years. This is the best of both worlds, the Jazz body with a Precision neck is very comfortable. The Seymour Duncan pick up is awesome.Single volume is great. If you're a guy who likes active electronics and multiple switches to dial in your sound, this bass is not for you.If you're a guy who just plugs in with out all of the little gadgets then this bass is for you.I'm not a fan of Blink 182 or mark Hoppus, but this is probably the best bass I have ever owned. It has great tone and play ablilty. If I could I would easily give it more than a 10 rating at least a 11

I got this bass used for Christmas, and I can tell you, it's a great bass. Whether you play it with a pick or your fingers (I do both) it still has that trebly, ballsy, pop punk sound. Of course, I play Blink 182 with it, but I play tons of other stuff, too, so it's versatile. But if you're looking for a simple but versatile bass, get this, but get it used. It may have some wear on it, but it plays just the same.

I bought this bass new in 2004 from a local Fender dealer.  The original genre I played was punk pop.  Green Day, Blink 182, and Yellowcard.  I now play mostly Alternative rock, grunge, and do a lot of 80's cover songs.  If you want a bass that stands out not only in looks but sound, look no further.

Most people shoot this bass down, call it limited, cheap, tackey. Ive been able to play all kinds of styles with mine. From the punk rock that it was designed in mind for, to classic hard rock, garage, even alternative worship. I love the look, the pickups, and the feel. Once you get it set up the way you want it, theres no lettin ya down.
