A beautiful and well-designed semi-hollow body with the feel of solidbody.

The Artcore Bass series was designed for players that are used to solidbody basses but want the acoustic tone of a hollowbody. The 30.3" scale neck increases playing comfort, tone and natural low-end resonance while the acoustic body widens the palette of sounds at your disposal. Its two covered humbucking pickups offer a wide range of tones with increased tonal warmth. The Sure Grip III Knobs are designed for precise control with non-slip functionality and classic looks. Its Gibrialtar III bridge combined with a Quick Change III tailpiece provides increased sustain and easy string changes.

      Case sold separately.

Comments about Ibanez AGB200 4-String Electric Bass:

Great instrument overall. It initially has an overly bright sound that picks up too much finger and fret noise with the stock roundwound strings. Put on some flatwounds and maybe lower the pickups and your golden. The noise is gone, and you get a great vintage, open tone for blues, jazz, and classic rock. Buy it for the looks alone.

Comments about Ibanez AGB200 4-String Electric Bass:

One of the most beautiful basses I have seen, the binding and craftsmanship is on point. I even like the way they made the volume and tone knobs to match the guitar. My Bass came pretty well set up and ready to go, the neck was straight enough and there was no buzzing of the strings, alittle tuning and admiring, started playing 5 minuets after I got it. When I put a strap on the bass it had a tendency to lean away from the body, if you need to see the fretboard it might present a problem, maybe a different strap position would help, didn't bother me. It sounds very woody and a little bit hollow, it doesn't sound like an Jazz or P bass, I have both so the comparison was easy for me to make, it has its own sound. I think it would mix up good in a easy setting, a little light rock and some country music, not a metal bass by no means. All in all I knew what I was getting when I order it so I'm not disappointed at all, its not a fender or musicman, it's an Ibanez and that's what it sounds like.
