Overview
Classic shape.
One of the truly distinctive body shapes in the history of rock music is the Ibanez Destroyer bass. The DTB400 is the current issue of the Destroyer, made famous by numerous heavy rock acts through the eighties and nineties. It is equipped with the classic split single coil/single coil pickup arrangement along with discrete volume controls with speed knobs for each pickup and a master tone control. Parralelogram inlays compliment the angular body shape and gold hardware completes the styling. A hard rocking tone and a dynamic, stylish appearance have earned the Destroyer a legion of fans, and the DTB400 brings it into a price range that is accessible to many musicians who are put off by the pricing on vintage Destroyers.
