Comments about Ibanez GSR205L Left-Handed 5-String Electric Bass Guitar:

I've had this bass for a little over a week now and I'm loving it. The action is amazingly low, and doesn't suffer from buzzing frets, even with the B string tuned down to A. The stock strings play well too, making playing easy and very fluid. The shorter scale neck allows for me to fly through faster passages easier than I would have to on a 24-fret bass. It's fairly light weight making it more comfortable to move with than, say, a heavy jazz-bass from Fender, and movement in crucial to my band's stage presence. The knob which allows for an extra bass boost really makes a difference in your sound when you're trying to be heard over two guitars, drums, and a keyboard. The only complaints I have about this bass so far is the fact that it came with a bad intonation, but hey, it's nothing that's going to bust my wallet to fix. Overall, this bass is wonderful and I can't wait to gig regularly with it.
Knobs support good tone control from the intrument itself without having to rely heavily on your amp. Extra bass boost makes your low end cut through the mix like butter.
Instrument arrived in great condition, except there are some areas where the intonation must be adjusted.
This bass sounds amazing for a low-end model in this price range.
