Comments about Ibanez GSRM20B 4-String Electric Bass Guitar:

Makes a useful piccolo bass. I put on a set of Dadarrio GUITAR flatwounds, using the 050/040/030/020, and it worked out great.

Comments about Ibanez GSRM20B 4-String Electric Bass Guitar:

If your interested in a short scale bass, don't hesitate. Just buy this one. Adjusted action and pickup height and was ready to go! Could acually see myself playing live with it as it is very light weight with less shoulder fatigue than a regular bass.

Comments about Ibanez GSRM20B 4-String Electric Bass Guitar:

Sure this bass would be a good instrument for people with smaller hands BUT this is not a starter instrument in any way. This is an excellently made bass with a awesome walnut color finish. Some players will want to swap out the pickups. I did myself. I have two other full size professional bass' but the Ibanez has become my go to bass. It seems bass players are resistant to change and feel others need to "buck up" and feel the pain of a large bass. But really the argument ends when you realize that the worlds most famous and best bass player played short scale bass' (i think his band was the Beatles or something). I really hope that Ibanez will make a deluxe version!
