Comments about Italia Torino Bass Guitar:

-Started out putting on a old-new set of Fender 9050L Flatwound, .046-.060-.080-.095. Slight neck adjustment and set inclination. Adjusted sound and volume via the machine screws on the neck pickup. Sounds alot like an old Gibson EBO-2, but with more bite.
-Big problem, no case! It doesn't come with one and Italia doesn't seem to make one for their Torino Bass.
-The body is 16" wide x 20". Over all length is 46". It will not fit any normal electric bass case.
-I love the Bass, but I hate what I had to go through to get a case, for my pretty new bass.

Comments about Italia Torino Bass Guitar:

At first, I wasn't sure I was going to like the bass. I hated the heavy guage round strings that it shipped with. All they did was buzz even after adjusting the bridge and action. I changed to a lighter scale D'addario 40-95 and that fixed the sound and the buzz. The tone is beautiful and the neck balance is fine. The fit and finish is dead-on perfect. Stays in tune and tons of low end (MoTown) and plenty of high detail. It's a keeper for sure.
