Great New Schecter Bass

By Bradford Hatch

from Colorado

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research 2011 Stiletto Elite-4 Bass:

Same as I issued above
Recently started playing again and was using my 1980 Gibson RD Artist, and I love that bass that I bought when I was 17 years old and will always have it as it is a part of my life, but it is ver y heavy, and this Schecter bass is lite, and has a great punchy sound, very versatile, and the sustain is better than expected. My Gibson would sustain forever, and I love that ability and was concerned about that with my new Schecter, but not anymore. If your looking for a new bass, for a good price, with a great look, great sound, and is fun to play, this bass is a great choice.
After a few weeks, it seems to be of high quality
Good Value

Amazing Bass, How Sweet The Sound

By Frederic McCoy

from St. Petersburg, FL

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research 2011 Stiletto Elite-4 Bass:

Overall, this bass is outstanding. Its a deal that should not be passed up. With all the features I have mentioned, this is truly a fantastic bass. Don't wait, but it now while they're still in stock.
The Schecter Stiletto Elite-4 is a fantastic bass. The features on this instrument are all high quality and high end. Armed with two EMG-HZ's, this bass' sound will know your socks off. And with its active 2-band Equalizer, this bass is versatile and can fit almost any style music. The neck-thru construction on this bass is great because rather than having the instrument in two pieces(bolt-on neck and body), this bass is one piece, which makes it more solid and less vulnerable to being warped. Also, each metal piece on this is black chrome, which looks amazing. The features on this instrument make this bass worth buying.
The quality of this bass stands out from all of the rest. The woods used to make this beautiful machine are of high quality mahogany, maple and walnut. The pickups found on this bass are a pair of EMG pickups, which when buying separate from an instrument will cost you a pretty penny, and they make this instrument sound great. The quality of this instrument is about the best I've ever seen on a bass.
This bass is deffinitely worth the price. Looking at all aspects of it, I could see it easily selling for more than the asking price. This is a deal. You get the best of the best with this bass.

WOWWWWW

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research 2011 Stiletto Elite-4 Bass:

I was blown away with this bass. I have to admit I am a die hard Fender man, owning my trusty '97 American deluxe, wanting a back up. Hands down I am ashamed I was always overlooking other makes in this price range. I am a fool no longer, the see thru red is absolotly GORGEOUS!! Plays just as well if not better than my trusty Jazz. I used the extra money for a nice Ampeg cabinet! :)

Dude...

By JazzBassist711

from Florida

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research 2011 Stiletto Elite-4 Bass:

I bought this beauty almost a year ago, and it still gives me that new bass feeling every time I pick it up (in a good way). This bass can do it all: jazz, rock, funk, and just about any other genre you name. This bass can hold its own with any Fender I've ever tried, and it's about half the price. I havent had any problems with it in the near year I've owned it. The craftmanship is amazing and this bass is absolutely stunning. The hardware on this babe is amazing too (my bass can stay in tune for around a week, although I still tune it every time I use it) and the pickups can give you every sound immaginable, from deep booming lows to crispy clear highs. Do yourself a favor and purchase this baby, it'll be the best choice you've made in years!

Incredible Tone and Solid Feel

By Hodgey

from Texarkana, TX

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research 2011 Stiletto Elite-4 Bass:

I would describe it in the best possible way of saying, "So solid, it's like thumping a rock." I just got mine, and, truth be told, I was skeptical on buying a Schecter bass. I wanted a bass other than a Fender that could give me a slap and pop sound that I enjoyed. Of course, expecting that this was a rock bass with hardly any brights to speak of, I was incredibly surprised when I plugged her in. This bass has an incredibly dynamic sound that allows you to bring out the appropriate tones you are looking for: particularly the the mix of thumping lows and popping brights. Two negatives on the bass:One is the fact that harmonics are a bit sketchy, particularly the or 3rd fret harmonic on the E-string.Two, but it's not one to worry too much about since I just need to work with it to stop it. But the E string gives a bit of a thump that then resonates a little more shallow that I would like. Kinda like a metallic Wah.Overall, this is a great, great, great bass! Great feel and comfortable neck...it's lighter than my other neck-thru (SDGR SRX705), but better tones.

Elite 4

By Porkbutt

from Winchester, VA

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research 2011 Stiletto Elite-4 Bass:

It's a nice bass, and it's more of a luxury bass. The other Schecter models are basically the same as this bass, except this one is neck-thru. In my opinion, the neck-thru on this bass is not on par with other companies neck-thru's. The sustain is poor, even after having a professional set up on it. The pick-ups are decent, not the best. Pre-amp is a nice feature. It's not to over bearing to play standing up, and the maple top is very nice.
