Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 FR Standard Left-Handed Electric Guitar:

I didn't plug this thing into an amp until yesterday and I must say, I was impressed. I find pinch harmonics kind of hard to get on this though, but that's all.

Floyd Rose didn't come strung up and the D string was broken so I set it up myself and it stays in tune perfectly.

I do find however when I ring an open note and bend a different string, the ringing note goes flat because the bridge tilts forward when bending. Possibly not enough spring tension? I'll look more into it when I need to change the strings again, but it stays in tune and that's good enough for me.

One of the screws holding the claw in let go and wasn't able to grab the wood like the hole had been drilled too far or something. I sunk an 8x2 woodscrew into her and it works just fine now.

The tone knob (also the coil tap knob) seems kind of lose compared to both volume knobs. Not a huge deal considering the price of this guitar and i'm sure it can be tightened if I cared enough to look at it.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 FR Standard Left-Handed Electric Guitar:

When I got this guitar the D string was broken at the "pinch-point" and the other 5 strings were all out of tune. Because I haven't the knowledge to set one of these up, I need to consult a buddy of mine before I'm actually able to play it.

At least it didn't cost a lot. If they ever design a LH AxMax I will be replacing the Floyd Rose "special" with one of those.
