Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Raiden Deluxe 4 Electric Bass Guitar:

ok starter bass. there's a lot of fret buzz on top string. Most lower end models tend to have that problem. other than that the bass isn't a bad one for a beginner. Nice color and pretty good tone. watched a video demo before I bought and they didn't appear to have same issue as I did. Could just be player and not the instrument.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Raiden Deluxe 4 Electric Bass Guitar:

I have been playing a single P. Bass since early 60's. Saw the deal of the day and couldn't resist the price.

It arrived a couple days later, in perfect condition, and the Silver Grey color was beautiful. Looked at the rear electronics cover plate and it had sticker that said "Set up to play".

Wondered about that for a moment, then I strapped-er-up to check action and tuning. I was truly over whelmed, low & behold, it was in tune within a couple cents and the action was better than I could ask for on a new bass, right out of the box.

I might add that, even though overall tuning was ever so slightly off, all four strings were in tune with each other. That really say's solid QUALITY to me.

Love the sound, now my P. Bass is going to become a back-up & wall decoration.

Even at regular price it is well worth it.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Raiden Deluxe 4 Electric Bass Guitar:

Raiden Deluxe 4 Bass just came today. Was in excellent condition. It had a little fret buzz but a 1/4 turn to the left fixed that. The A-String was dead but I was replacing the strings anyway. Now I have a fantastic looking, sounding, and bad bass. I play it through Peavey professional 4-10 bottom w/horn and a 700 watt Firebass head. Fantastic sound. This should've gotten a 10- but all they had was 5

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Raiden Deluxe 4 Electric Bass Guitar:

Ever since I've started playing bass I've had a hard time finding one with the sound I want. not only that but I've went through a few guitars this past year including Ibanez, Cort and dean, they are all Ok but the raiden has the sound I wanted, and it feels great, fun to play and I LOVE the way it looks. Another thing I loved was that to my surprise It already came with the same D'Addario nickel wound strings I use on all my guitars. after 2 years of trying out different basses I have finally found "my" bass. I contemplated for 2 weeks weather or not I should take the chance and buy it but now I wonder why I ever did.

I selected this bass because it was the stupid deal of the day, but I discovered that it is a very solid and well built product. In spite of it's very low price, I find that it is well built and a pleasure to play.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Raiden Deluxe 4 Electric Bass Guitar:

originally wrote bass can stand up to my '72 jazz, in some respects it can but in large open air venues, not enough punch and volume for large stage coverage(need to be punched up in your monitor to hear it) and i use a GK 800 w/2 eden cabs, 1 15 and 2 10s, still a GREAT bass value and great looking, very light wt, fun to play and great for all other applications except for top pro shows...still say buy it, great 1st time bass, great back up bass

              Nice Bass

              By

              from Buffalo. NY

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Raiden Deluxe 4 Electric Bass Guitar:

My only complaint is that the neck adjustment is the old style (under a cover plate on the headstock). I would prefer it at the base of the neck. If I need to make a quick adjustment, I don't want to have to find a tiny phillips head screwdriver to take off the cover plate.
Let me start by saying this It's not a Rickenbacker or Gibson. That said, this is an excellent bass.
My bass was flawless out of the box. The fit and finish is great. I gave it a 9 because the factory strings are terrible (as they all are). After a new set of strings and a few minor adjustments, I was in business.
Again, for a the price, this bass is a major bang for the buck!
