Spector combined a gorgeous birdseye poplar top and an alder back with a slice of walnut on their classic NS curved body to create a spectacular bass. A 3-piece maple neck with internal graphite bars offers additional strength and the neck-thru neck joint contributes to killer sustain. Features active EMG pickups and separate volume and tone controls.

    This bass sounds perfect no matter what you play. I play 311, Peppers, Metal, and hard rock,pop, and mostly anything else. The knobs are simple, and won't stress you out. I prefer it to my '87 Warwick Streamer Stage II, and that says a lot. Totally worth the price, the quality is unbeatable. I would give up every Fender, Musicman, Ibanez, and Warwick I own for this bass if I had to pick only one.

    Not only is the fit and finish on this instrument superb, it also sounds phenomenal: brilliant and clear highs and a nice growling low end. This is my new "go to" bass for any genre of rock and jazz - but due to the bright and "crunchy" tone I prefer it for rock. I also own a Tobias 6-string that is phenomenal for jazz, but less so for rock. Overall, I would consider this a best buy in any category. You need to buy this bass, if for nothing else but to marvel at the fine Czech quality; you will not be disappointed.
