This bass is phenomenal for the price. It sounds wonderful and the neck is comfortable too. I was iffy about the EMG pickups at first but those pups combined with the preamp makes for an excellent sound. Anyone interested in an affordable six string bass should definitely get one of these beauties.

This is an excellent bass. I was a bit skeptical at first when I heard it was made in korea, but upon trying it out, I knew it was a nice quality instrument. The low b string resonates and sustains nicely, and has a definable tone (much better than that of the musicman stingray5 I used to have), and the high c has an excellent sound. The only complaints I really have is that the lower strings tend to resonate some when playing the high c and that the pre-amp could pack some more volume. All and all though, a very good bass for a very affordable price.

This is the first 6 string ive own, and im am more than satisfied. The action is amazing, the tone is brilliant, and the appearance is breath taking. The only problem I had is I ordered the bubinga finish, and it was out of stock. After 2 weeks of waiting, I ended up changing my order to the black cherry finish, which was in-stock. Im am quite satisfied with my purchase. Good luck finding a bass this good for this price.

Ive only had this bass for a week but wow. I was looking at a lot of basses and never even heard of spector but got it. I got it used in a finish that had been discontinued unless there is another spector 6-string. Its a blue green color with a quilted mapel top. The EMGs ar amazing. I moved up from a squier j bass and compared to other 6-strings the neck is very thin. I play in school and in my own band. This bass does it all with some left over. No matter what get this bass if you have the cash. Its actually kind of like the 6-string MTD.

I've owned this bass for around four months now and have been more than please with it. It is truly a great sounding bass with an excellent tonal range. I have received countless comments on its looks, and the Amber Burst finish is both gorgeous and eye catching. The only complaint I have with it is that it doesn't have nearly as much volume range as my Ibanez did. But over all, this is an excellent bass and I would definitely recommend it.

I've had this bass for two years and love it. worth every penny if you got the pennies. I've been able to play just about anything from primus to dream theater. no limits. it is a bit hard to reach the 24th fret though but most likely your not gonna need it with that 6th string

I had wanted a Spector for years and this one did not dissapoint. The quality of the instrument is obvious right out of the box; the finish is great, the neck is true, and the intonation is good. The first time I plugged it in I noticed the great tone from the Tone Pump preamp. The sound cuts through the mix really well and the bottom end is nice and round. If there is one drawback to this bass it's that the neck is really fat. I have played 6-string basses for many years so I am used to a fat neck but this one is obese. All in all this is a great bass at a great price.

Within the past year, I have landed the position as the new bass player in the band Eternity X. However, I needed a 6 string bass to pull it off. Upon countless hours of studying many 6 string basses, this is the one I have chosen. This thing is worth it's weight in gold. The preamp is so amazing and warm sounding. The highs are crisp and clear, without harshness. The bottom is full, with no muddiness. The mids are tight and articulate. If you need a 6 string bass, I strongly suggest this one. The only thing I could wish for is that it would have been a string-through body setup.

ok, i bought this based on no reviews.And because i had just recently seen Primus and was inspired to get one. But it is an amazing bass.i love how it has a gentle curve on the body like the more expensive spectors. It is my first 6 string and before this i only had a 4. it came with a few scratches but it sounds incredible.....bottom line...buy it.
