This is another one of those surprises that just catches you off guard - what a great bass. It is lightweight with a fast and easy playing neck. With a single pickup and a single tone control make this a simple no-nonsense bass that sounds great live as well as in the studio. It is really a great value.
I own this bass and it is the best. The sound quality is good and the Badtz-Maru paint job makes it look awesome while your playing. Overall this bass is good for anyone.
I bought this bass as an emergency, I was planning to give it to my little sister afterwords, but decided to keep as my primary bass. This bass replaced my Schecter Omen 4 stringer. I love the single single-coil pickup. great sound out of something that is associated with Hello Kitty. I was expecting less, but its awesome. You might want to upgrade the bridge and tuning keys later. This bass has fought a schecter and a p-bass. great value. I wish they had the neck as a full scale.
It has an OK sound, it's not the sound of a real Fender or Squier bass but it's kinda OK. I didn't like its single pickup, but I gotta agree that the pickguard and design are great. I didn't like that it has 19 frets, I need my high notes. I just didn't feel very comfortable playing this bass.
