Speed It Up

By Ryan-rfZ2_

from Biloxi, Mississippi

Comments about Hal Leonard Bass Fitness - An Exercising Handbook Book:

This book is perfect for anyone that wants to increase their speed and accuracy on the bass. It has hundreds of differend finger patterns that will have you using hand muscles you didnt know you had. Though its mistaken about the audio and visual aids that make you think it comes with it (their actually sold seperately) you really dont need them anyway. A great buy for a great price.

Bassists Necessity

from Baltimore, MD

Comments about Hal Leonard Bass Fitness - An Exercising Handbook Book:

This book really helps strengthen your fingers and forearms and improve finger flexibility and dexterity, so you can play better longer. I hadn't used it in a while and after 2-3 days of doing just the exercises on the 1st page my fingers and forearms were sore, just like when I get a good workout at the gym. The exercises are interesting and get progressively more challenging, so I don't get bored.

Great for the serious student

By Rock'n Rob

from Raleigh, NC

Comments about Hal Leonard Bass Fitness - An Exercising Handbook Book:

I'm a guitar teacher with a few bass students and have found this to a great tool for beginning players. I alternate using this at a weekly lesson with emphasis on walking bass lines and theory. These exercises are easy to understand once you've done a few pages, and will kick your hands b***. Lives up to the promise of building finger independence, dexterity. Building speed is really up to you and how hard you drive yourself on each module during practice.

Beware the deceptive description

By Highclimber

from Shelton, WA

Comments about Hal Leonard Bass Fitness - An Exercising Handbook Book:

Although this product description says it includes both pictures and an audio component, it does not. The book is still ok, BUT if you are expecting to have a CD and pictures, too, don't order this. They are sold separately, and they're not offered for sale. Why they would use this product description only heaven knows, as this situation reflects a very negative image upon them.
