Comments about Mel Bay Jazz Guitar Chord Substitution Wall Chart:

I've noticed there are several charts available, and I think I'll check them out too. My jazz friends were impressed, and my rock friends want to check the simpler rock version to answer some of the musical questions that concern their playing problems. Good buy for the money!
Covers a lot of ground! From tri-tone substitution to backcycling, secondary dominants, back door subs and more, this big chart keeps me thinking. As an old rocker, I feel this chart leads me into new ideas of theory and helps me explore a different range of thought than the typical three part harmony I'm used to from the rock and roll literature.
Good sturdy chart! Looks like it will hold up well. Not flimsy. I have it pinned to the wall over my desk for immediate availability.
For a small price, I'm going to get a lot of work out of this chart. I can use it as a reference tool every day.
