Comments about Antoine Courtois Paris AC550BH Hagmann Series Bass Trombone:
This is the best sounding bass trombone I've tried or owned. A lot more money than the Conn, Bach or Yamaha standard models but all worth it. You can also change the bell section and the leadpipe to customise your sound. It's very well built.
Sound wise, it´s simply the best sound you can get out of a bass trombone for classical work (orchestral, wind ensemble, etc.) it's also great for solo work. If you push it, the yellow bell will handle the big band stuff as well. The high range is incredibly easy. You got to work the low range in the beginning, especially with the hagmann valves that requires a lot of air. But once you are used to it, you'll never want another valve section since it sounds so great.
This trombone is a must have in any pro players arsenal...
