A GREAT CONCERT SNARE

By Madperc2

from Madison

Comments about Grover Pro SV Series Concert Snare Drum:

My school has this drum and it sounds great and is very well built. The sound is crisp and clear with no obnoxious overtones. It came tuned right out of the box.

Good quality, horrible overtone

By Dog92

from LA

Comments about Grover Pro SV Series Concert Snare Drum:

This snare is a very good concert snare, however, it has an unbearable overtone. In practicing 30 minutes a day for our state tryouts, I cannot stress how irritating this snare's overtone is. That means it rings on for years after you hit it. The quality is good, but make sure to buy remo O rings to muffle the overtone, its hard to practice when you are playing fast and you hear constant ringing.
