Beginner Mallets? I guess..

Comments about Vic Firth Mushroom Head Keyboard Mallets:

These mallets are definitely NOT for the serious mallet player. They are very, very beginner mallets. Honestly, even if I were a beginner mallet player, you can get better quality mallets for around the same price (Mike Baltar, Innovative, etc.). I had these as a beginner mallet player; after a half a year, the yarn started ripping (low-quality). I don't even know what the shafts are made of. I wouldn't recommend these mallets.
