Designed and engineered without compromise, thanks to years of feedback from professionals on the front line of touring, the Xylosynth remains an unrivalled opportunity for mallet players to unlock the flexibility and convenience of MIDI while retaining the physical playing experience of an acoustic instrument.

This model features a set of high-quality standard set of General MIDI sounds that contain a wide complement of timbres for all common instrument groups including piano, organ, strings, brass, woodwinds, guitars, basses, special effects and more. Additionally it features a broad range of drum and percussion timbres from pop to jazz to orchestral. It additionally features durable buttons that are 'sealed' to IP65 standard. They are in place of 1/4" jacks for patch changes, transposing and other functions, and are preferred for education and marching, as pedals are not required in those contexts.

Xylosynth's revolutionary sensing and filtering technology means that the Xylosynth can bring the best out of your sound source with a vast dynamic range, and all with accuracy of triggering and lightning fast response time that means what you hear is exactly what you played. With the XS6, latency has now been all but illiminated, at a phenomenal 0.003 seconds or less, and speeds of 33 hits per second, per note will now be flawlessly recognized. The unique transpose pedal allows the player to shift to any key signature or switch octave in real time.

The Xylosynth’s solid hardwood keys unlock an unparalleled level of nuance and playability in any MIDI sound source. It looks, plays and feels just as a real instrument should, and, thanks to intuitive hands-on control of note length and sensitivity, it can gracefully adapt to your playing style. And the Xylosynth makes no demands for special technique – whatever your playing style or choice of mallets, the Xylosynth will make you forget that you are playing an electronic instrument, allowing natural glissandos and true expression.

Lightweight and compact, the Xylosynth XS6 is a breeze for the player to carry, and setup is simplicity itself with no programming required. With one instrument carrying all mallet duties from marimba and glock to the most modern of music sounds, prepare to discover endless opportunities to thrill your audience.

Over the course of 10 years, the Xylosynth has established a first class reputation for unassailable build quality and reliability. Forever searching for advances, all internal contacts in the XS6 are now gold plated and the new piezo transducers have been exclusively manufactured to Wernick's quality specifications. Should the worst happen, the modular system permits any key to be easily replaced with a spare within a few minutes.
