Comments about Audio-Technica ATM350 Cardioid Condenser Clip-on Microphone:

I am a sound man who does mostly live bluegrass/acoustic at festivals and indoor venues. I have always wanted a better way for bass mic setup. I've tried the mic in the tail piece, mic on boom, pickup run through amp with direct out, but this is the clearest I've used. Pick ups and amps usually have "Juke box bass" which is hard to deal with. The ATM350 is a very true acoustic sound. Clip it on the tail piece or the bridge and point it at the body near the bridge feet, good to go. Great solution! Love this mic! Because it handles high SPL, it would work to mic an amp.

Bigger than I expected, but sounds great

Comments about Audio-Technica ATM350 Cardioid Condenser Clip-on Microphone:

I just bought an AT899 omni and it's so small and so clean. I thought this was the same size - it's not - so check the dimensions if you're imagining it's a tiny little sub-miniature. It's not really meant to be a lapel mic.
    Great sound though!

    VERY SATISFIED

    By

Comments about Audio-Technica ATM350 Cardioid Condenser Clip-on Microphone:

i have been looking for a microphone to clip on to my cello - and to use in on mandolin. This microphone is clean and rich on both instruments - with virtually no ambient noise. I am very satisfied with it and will purchase another one for ukelele for live sound.
