Not useful in recording or live music applications

Comments about Fender Passport P-51 Microphone Kit:

This was the first microphone I ever got (it was free), and honestly was a great step up from the generic computer mic I had at the time in the sense that it actually worked as a microphone. However, I got a Shure SM57 at the same time, and the difference is QUITE apparent. The package is worth the money since XLR cables can cost $20 - $40 alone, and if you have NO mic, then this works perfectly. However, as another review said, the volume was too low to do anything effectively. tldr: buy this only if you don't have anything else at your disposal.

    Not so Good.

Comments about Fender Passport P-51 Microphone Kit:

I got this mic included in my Fender PD150 Deluxe Passport PA system and I can tell why Fender is giving it away. The mic is weak and you really have to get your mouth close to it in order to make your voice come across. In addition, the mic does change the voice so I can't tell it is accurate. The mic feels quite heavy and well put together so it should last a few years I guess.
