I've had this pedal for 2 years now and it is by far my favorite.. I've owned the iron cobra (not a fan), the DW 5000 (great pedal), and some Pearl double pedal in my beginning years of drumming that was probably less than $200.. I've played other top pedals out there but obviously this is the best. It hits pretty hard and is very smooth at the same time. The only thing I dislike about the DW pedals are the beaters.. They are pretty heavy. I actually switched them out with my Iron Cobra beaters and it works perfectly..
I am not a gear junkie by any means, I just love to play good equiptment.. I have not cleaned my pedal or taken very good care of it for the couple years I've had it and it still plays like new.. Very fast for double bass but also sounds great if you use ALOT more of single bass drum tracks.
well worth the money
won't break on you or anything like that like alot of other pedals do
you get what you pay for

I've already written a review, but this thing has failed me so many times I have to write another one. The springs break about once a month and I've had to keep extras around at all times cause I live in fear their going to break again. The rivet that hold the pedal to the chain has broken on both pedals. Today the clamp that holds the pedal to the bass drum snapped while I was playing it. For the coast of this pedal, I was expecting the absolute pedal of pedals from DW...but this is the worst pedal I've ever played. As a pedal, aside from it's frequent breaking, it's no faster, smoother, or punchy then the average $300 double pedal. I've played DW pedals for 14 years and I can't imagine I would ever waste my money on this brand again!!!!

Comments about DW 9002PC Double Pedal:
I have tried several different brands of double-bass pedals. I even own a pair of DW5000's. All the pedals I have are very nice, but I always struggle with the left pedal having slightly more resistance (which is completely normal since there are extra joints and bearings to make it work). I just bought these DW 9002's and after a little tweaking, have the left pedal feeling almost like the right one. I love it and can play so much faster. I prefer playing with two bass drums and two separate bass pedals, but for me the DW 9002's are the smoothest I have used and are very fast. I don't prefer the beaters it came with so I replaced them with the beaters that come with the Tama Iron Cobras.
Note: Pedals are very personal; unfortunately you may have to try several different ones before you find the one that works for you. Some of my other pedals are highly favored by other professional musicians but didn't work for me.

Comments about DW 9002PC Double Pedal:
This pedal is amazing. I had been waiting for several years for the price of this pedal to come down and finally my wait was over. This infinitely adjustable pedal is a Godsend. It is so smooth! I would recommend this pedal to anyone. You get unmatched control and power. No, if you want mind numbing unmusical base drum rolls that occupy some of today's heavy metal music, this might not e the best. However, you can still accurately pump out very fast foot work and with little effort. A+++++!!!! You can't get me off my set now.

Comments about DW 9002PC Double Pedal:
I've used both Yamaha and Pearl pedals in the past. I had the DW 3002 pedal as well. The DW 9002 has been by far the most durable. I have never had a problem in the past year. This pedal also helps with speed due to the fact it has such a smooth feel to it when you use it.

Comments about DW 9002PC Double Pedal:
I must say i used to have a pearl eliminator demon drive double pedal and it just does no justice to playing a 9000 series double pedal. The cam drives are so much better, every possible thing is invinitely adjustable and light weight at that. It is not near as expensive as the eliminator but still pricy. I love this pedal I would not trade it for the world. I have been playing for about 15 years and no pedal i have ever owned is as smooth as the dw 9000. A remarkable product and long lasting durability. I have played in many competitions before state and national, and have used one several times. It was amazing and i won several competitions because of how smoothly i had everything adjusted. I loved it so much i had to get one myself. This is a number one best seller by far!!!!

Comments about DW 9002PC Double Pedal:
simply put, its the best pedal out on the market. i have played iron cobras speed cobras demon drives, and mapex falcons, and none of them even come close to the 9000. save your money and get the best im glad i did.
This is the most adjustable pedal i have ever played!
i was doubting this pedal would live up to the price tag but i dont regret a single penny spent on it. simply amazing
pricey yes, but worth money.
Comments about DW 9002PC Double Pedal:
I have played every brand of pedal on the market and the DW9002 is by far the best. It has the smoothest motion and is extremely responsive. The adjustment options are endless and very easy to make. Having the drum key mounted to the foot plate is a bonus! If you are looking for a pedal you can play for a lifetime, the DW9002 is definitely the way to go!
Comments about DW 9002PC Double Pedal:
Ok, so after having a 5002, Axis longboards and using a demon drive for 3 months all I can say is that the 9002 is THE BEST double pedal in terms of quality, durability and performance. If you are strictly a metal guy and need uber speed then maybe go Axis or Trick but for ALL other applications look no further!
Comments about DW 9002PC Double Pedal:
Been playing 20+ years. I've owned the 9002 system since 2007. It's been by far the most reliable, most comfortable, most adjustable set of pedals I have ever used. They work just as well as the day I bought em. Takes time to adj, but once adjusted, they feel like butter. They're so smooth and love the adjutable cam to give you a swing over wallop if desired. Use strap or chain, so many other features.. I've owned iron cobra, pearl, and dw 5000 series over the years. I just love the 9000 series setup. I ened up buying the 9000 hi hat stand and its just as nice. I couldn't imagine playing on anything else.
