I recently played at a Benefit, and was on someone elses set.  After we were done I made sure to find out what snare head I had just played on becasue I just HAD to get one.  This is the BEST snare head I have played on ever.

purchased a new set of pearls about 3 years ago and used the pearl head that came with the snare, it had a ton of ring so i had to dampen it with a 14'' remo tone control ring, and its time for a new head and im going back to genera hd dry batter head. Ive used these heads for quite awhile on my snare and they work great. they knock down ringing in a snare very well, and they take alot of abuse. i would recmond this head to any drummer that dosent like alot of ring in there snare.

Love this snare. Had it tightened up in minutes and sounds great. Has a lot snap/pop, and cuts through the main mix flawlessly. We jam in a small room so everything tends to get loud. I put 3 moon gelly's on this and it still cut through the mix and has a great sound, with little overtone. Would recommend to anybody looking for a more lively snare.

The holes in the head definatly get rid of the stray overtones.

The sharp attack of this head was just what I was looking for, playing rock.
