Comments about Factory Metal Percussion Street FX Cross Crasherz:
this is a very very odd cymbal (i don't consider a cymbal). very short ring i don't use it cause all my stands are being used but i like the sizzle it has. it doesn't have power most of all. it lacks sound and i own paiste alphas and they are loud so thats why i don't use it allot. but its very unique in sound so buy it and see what you think. its not a total lost cause for the price.
Comments about Factory Metal Percussion Street FX Cross Crasherz:
If you're looking for a traditional crash sound, then you might want to keep moving. If you're after a unique accent, then this might be for you. A strike on this cymbal produces a metallic buzz which really isn't easy to describe. The sustain can be played around with using the screws, I'm still messing around with that, lol. I find myself using it more than I thought I would, mainly a quick strike while working with the hats or ride. The sound works well with a splash, but too big of a crash and it might get drowned out. It works fairly well in place of a tambourine, though it's not quite as ringy. Overall, I think it'd be a good investment for someone looking for a unique and inexpensive addition to their set.
