For a white noise effect with a unique metallic rattler sustain.

Street FX Cross Crasherz have four Jingles housed in between two alloy crosses to create a sharp cutting attack with an adjustable decay. Sustain can be quickly adjusted by tightening down wing nut felts to push cross plates together. They have a hand-hammered, dual-plate construction. Great for accents — perfect on stackers over cymbals.

Street FX have just redefined metallic sound options for drummers and percussionists. Music is about finding your own voice and that's why so many of today's top pros choose to play Factory Metal Percussion. New sound colors mean new musical options.

Comments about Factory Metal Percussion Street FX Cross Crasherz:

this is a very very odd cymbal (i don't consider a cymbal). very short ring i don't use it cause all my stands are being used but i like the sizzle it has. it doesn't have power most of all. it lacks sound and i own paiste alphas and they are loud so thats why i don't use it allot. but its very unique in sound so buy it and see what you think. its not a total lost cause for the price.

Unique white noise effect

Comments about Factory Metal Percussion Street FX Cross Crasherz:

If you're looking for a traditional crash sound, then you might want to keep moving. If you're after a unique accent, then this might be for you. A strike on this cymbal produces a metallic buzz which really isn't easy to describe. The sustain can be played around with using the screws, I'm still messing around with that, lol. I find myself using it more than I thought I would, mainly a quick strike while working with the hats or ride. The sound works well with a splash, but too big of a crash and it might get drowned out. It works fairly well in place of a tambourine, though it's not quite as ringy. Overall, I think it'd be a good investment for someone looking for a unique and inexpensive addition to their set.
