I've had this throne for about 2 years. I sit on it every day, and I am constantly fiddling with height adjustments and what not. So far, I couldn't ask for a better seat for the price. The seat is comfortable, adjustable, durable (so far), and supportive. I have no complaints about this throne at all. That being said, it’s not as comfortable as one of those roc-n-soc seats, but they are significantly more expensive especially if you want a back rest (an absolute must for me). Some people really love the pork pie rounded thrones, but they aren’t for me. Too squishy and hard to get my balance just right. This seat is comfortable but firm which helps me stabilize myself easily. Overall, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Well, I've owned one for about 5 years now.  It may be short life span which has caused me to rate it so low, but there really isn't anything innovative about it let alone anything worth paying more than 70 bucks for.  The back rest bends easily (again, keep in mind I'm a 5 year reviewer), cushion isn't flat, but it's not comfortable and the cardboard/plastic backing is starting to tear off.  If you like freedom, you can expect to pick up bolts after a gig as they will wiggle out easily. Other then that, it's average and will get the job done if you can't afford a luxury seat.

Comfortable drum throne

Have had this throne for a month and this comfortable seat has provide some needed back and bottom relief. The seat is very comfortable and has room enough to shift positions from time to time. The backrest slants back a bit and allows the bottom of the rest to support your back while sitting straight and the whole rest to give support when sitting up straight. It has two oversized knobs for adjustment in and out and up and down. The seat attachment thumb screw is in the way of the back comming in too far, yet this could be fixed by removing some material from the backrest arm on bottom. Overall this is one of the better backrest seats for the money. I especially like the overstuffed seat with the velour top.(very comfortable.) If I lost this I would get another. So long hard little drum thrones, hello comfort.
