Hart Dynamics

Responds with the feel of an acoustic drum while achieving virtually silent operation.

The Hart Professional Series Snare Drum is a solid-feeling, fast and accurate triggering electronic snare drum. It features a dual-trigger design (head and rim) with full position-sensing capabilities. Patented Kontrol Screen Magnum exclusive silent mesh drumheads and patented TE3.2 (Transparent Energy Transfer) trigger technology allow the drum to respond like an acoustic drum without the acoustic volume.

Many people have commented that Hart's Kontrol Screen heads feel even better than an acoustic drum, and Hart has eliminated the spongy or "tennis racket" feel common to electronic drum pads. TE3.2 trigger technology defines state-of-the-art triggering capabilities with super fast, accurate, dynamic, position sensing, modulation, and dual-trigger capabilities with compatible modules.

The chrome hand-hammered Norez custom steel alloy shell offers extreme durability, non-resonance, and was computer designed (CAD) to eliminate false triggering; and x-talk elevates this drum to its own category. Manufactured to extremely accurate tolerances, this allows uniform consistency between drums. This means consistent and accurate sensitivity, tracking and dual-trigger capability.

Tension rods thread into brass receivers for smooth and accurate head adjustment with a standard drum key. Triple-chrome-plated steel hoops with replaceable and removable rubber Rim Trim for enhanced quiet rimshot and cross-stick operation. These drums truly are in a class by themselves. For the professional or serious enthusiast who will accept nothing less than the best.

Just got this a couple of days ago. I was blown away how it looks the hand hammered shell is awesome.

Tech Stuff:

I have a Roland Td-6 and an Alesis Dm5 I use both of them on my kit This drum was the final piece for a total mesh pad kit Ive been working on it for a while LOL!!!!!

The only thing the td6 is good for is the dual trigger forget the tight buzz roll stuff no matter what the setting its just doesnt trigger fast enough.

This drum rocks on the Alesis DM5 Period!!!!!

Its an awesome drum for  us low budget guys.

DM5 Setiings:

Gain-48-50 depending on drum

V Curve -4-5

X-Talk 45-50 depending on drum

Decay-15

Noise-00

Better than the real thing

I use this with a Roland drum kit. It's so sensitive it can be triggered with brushes. Yet the bounce is as good (better as far as I'm concern) than real skin. You can tighten the skin to your liking for proper bounce. Every drummer that tried it can't get over it. If you can afford it, go for it.

Puts Rolands pads to shame

Its 1" wider and 100 dollars cheaper than Rolands Flagship snare drum. The magnum head that comes on it feels awesome like a real drum head but completely quiet. You'd have to see it to believe it, The accuracy is dead on! No dead spots or hot spots, just a good response from all spots! I highly recommend this over any other pads they offers. If you want the best you're looking at it. The drum is beautiful, and looks like a real drum. I'm very happy I decided to buy it!
