    Comments about LP205 Timbale Cowbell:

I bought the LP Mambo Bell when I should have bought this bell. The LP Timbale bell has a wider mouth and lower pitch and blends better with the other lower and higher bells. There are better bells out there for the price and stock quality (eg., Pearl or LP Salsa series), but the muted sound blends best with the other bells in the LP series.

    Comments about LP205 Timbale Cowbell:

Once I read that legendary timbalero Manny Oquendo helped design this bell I couldn't help but get one. Over all this isn't a bad bell. I own many other cowbells whether is be boutique hand made bells or mass produced ones, but point being I've heard a lot of them. This one still holds its own amongst them. You will get the sound you'd expect from a timbale bell with its higher pitch, but the one thing about this bell is that there are no lows. This bell has no low not so you cannot get a good bongo bell pattern out of it. That's fine since that's what it was designed for. Over all I am happy with my purchase and do not regret it. Try one for yourself.

      Comments about LP205 Timbale Cowbell:

LP knows Latin percussion. They make a bell designed for just about every style and genre of Latin music. This model had just the right resonance, pitch, volume, and articulation I needed for pairing it with a 13" LP drum-set timbale. I was looking for a versatile bell that could handle from rock to salsa styles on drum-set. If you are looking for just one cowbell to put in your trap case and you get called on to play a variety of styles then this would be an excellent choice.
