    Comments about Meinl Trejon:

Out of the box I was pleasantly surprised. Solid (and loud) lows, crisp highs (with a variety of them), and a modest but a little skimpy amount of mids (upper middle area).

The sustain was shorter than I expected, but works well with other instruments in acoustical/electric setups.

Very stout looking and real head turner.

    Comments about Meinl Trejon:

This is my 2nd cajon, and I'll never need another one. A GREAT cajon - sounds great, tall enough for a tall person, and with a PA, a set of brushes and a SM57, you can sound like an entire drumset ( sans cymbals). The visual: an audience loves it when they see you playing it.

    Love my Trejon

    By GJ-sUuN5

    Comments about Meinl Trejon:

I have had my Trejon for 4 months and it sounds great, easy to play, great snare and bass sound. I have the new version with the 2 snares and have not adjusted it all - I am already used to having the snare sound on both sides, but will eventually experiment, as having the tom sound will be an extra over other Cajons - Meinl customer service is great as I has one minor issue that they resolved quickly. If you want an easy to play, versatile drum for small gigs, this is the way to go - lieterally no set up and you can get great rythms and sounds with ease.
