Bursting with high-end punch and bags of attack, the Natal Ash Series will maximize your stage presence.
With a platform of a unique product line built from the ground up, the Natal Ash Series offers the pro features that professional or serious hobbyist drummers require. A straight grained wood, Ash is tough yet flexible, ideal for snare drums. Using Ash as an inner ply and composite laminate produces highly responsive shells with rich attack while maintaining a versatile tone. Ash has a short resonance with clipped sustain which gives toms extra power, punch and projection. All Ash shells are 6-ply and feature exclusive PET and PVC wrap finishes.
The Natal Ash Tom Drum features 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops with rounded lugs branded with the Natal "Sun." Also, each tom has two die-cast Natal badges featuring the ‘Sun' logo and bears hardware compatible with Natal's NRM (Natal Resonance Mount) tom mounting system for maximum vibration.

Comments about Natal Drums Ash Series Tom Tom:
I had to write a new review to kind of correct the previous one I posted.
Still not bad for the money, but seriously not something I could put on stage for a serious show.
I think the hardware is better than I initially thought, but the sound quality is lower than I suspected. I found myself constantly fiddling with the tuning, to try and get the tom to fit with everything else. the floor tom sounded better, but not great by any means.
I will say they sound better than most drums at this price point, but the point is so low, that it's only competing with really bad brands.
Some people may like the sound of these, and I think they would work really well for Metal, or really hard rock.
Comments about Natal Drums Ash Series Tom Tom:
I'm going to say this tom was a good deal. I purchased it to go with a DW bass drum I purchased, and I think they're going to work well.
I haven't had a chance to hear it with the rest of the kit, but tom by itself seems to sound pretty good. It came tuned so the heads would stay on, so I cranked it up just a little bit, and found the tone to be pleasant. These are bright drums that can cut through. Their pitch is a bit higher than Maple when tuned to the same tension.
I did notice a little blip on the resonance side, but overall the quality seems to be decent. The mount is flexible, and can be used with smaller or larger L-arms. The hardware looks amazing, but I feel like it's not as precise as some of the other manufacturers. I say this only because of how much play there is in the arm mount. I don't suspect these will break any time soon, or have any issues being set up, and broken down every night.
I plan on using this tom, along with the 14" tom as part of my "touring" kit. (I don't tour as much as I used too, but I don't want to bring my rare Yamaha Maple Custom 30th anniversary edition kit out anymore, for fear of it getting stolen, or damaged.
I'll update the review, when I have a chance to gig with these a few times, but for now, I'm satisfied with this purchase.
