Great cymbals at a great price.

Overall these cymbals are my favorite out of the many I own ( zildjian ZBT and A custom) They were a great deal and sound very nice. The ride has a nice ping with washy overtones. The splash is very musical and sounds like smashing glass. The crashes had an excellent high end roar with great sounding tone and overtones. The hi-hats produced an excellent clean 'chik' and were easily able to cut through the other cymbals. The only thing that I did not like, is that the hi-hats didn't live up to my expectation when played open. Otherwise, some of the best cymbals I have ever played for a killer price.
These Cymbals are awesome! Especially if you need some great sounding cymbals for a cheap price. Also, I love the 10" paragon splash. Dude, that thing It has a nice exploding crash sound to it. The 18" crash and the 20" ride sound really good too. But, I'll be honest, the hats suck. they are way to tingy and pingy for me. They just don't sound like a rock hi-hat should sound. Especially when played open. You Would be happier if you bought this cymbal pack and also bought a different pair of hats Well, good job Sabian.
I would recomend this to any drummer, espicialy if you are looking for cymbals that will last, i would have to tell you to buy this cymbal pack
I bought these cymbals a couple of months ago. I replaced them for a Zilgian set I had. These Cymbals stand the test of time. Not once have they cracked on me like the Zildjians did. These cymbals are worth every penny. and also The paragon splash is awesome !!!!! If you are on a low budget and want a great sound these are the way to go. Killer sound at a Great Price!
I bought these use them one two songs and put them back in the box. They were way to tinny sounding for me. On the other hand the paragon splash sounded great I hated to send it back with the pack. I since have bought a paragon 13" hi-hat "love them" and a 15" zildjian a custom fast crash and a 17" sound is much better.Bottom line you get what you pay for!
I was lent a stage custom and it has b8 Pro hihats, crash, and ride, like in this package. The Ride and hi hats are the best, but the crash you have to hit hard. But all of them sound great.
I got these as a Christmas present and... wow! The HI-hats are loud and bright as hell, The ride is bright and pingy. And, The rock crash is full and colorful. Overall It's a good deal!
As always, you can always save up and get better sounding cymbals than these, but for the price, these cymbals provide an excellent array of sounds for the beginning drummer. I practically didn't have any cymbals on my set at the time I purchased these.(I did, but they were in the worst shape imaginable, I mean cracked beyond belief...my "crash" was about to split in half down the bell and everything. But I got those from a friend for free.) Anyways, no complaints at all from me on these cymbals, they are amazing for the price and excellent for drummers of any skill level, but remember: They are ROCK cymbals, only use for rock and metal music for the best sound and results.
