Comments about Pearl 20-Strand Bridge Type Snare Drum Wires:

I can't really comment on the quality of these wires. I had to return them because they only fit free floating snare drums. they are about 15 3/4" long. Unless you have an extended snare strainer, make sure you read the description before purchasing. Musicians friend is sending another set that fits, but I had to pay the return shipping.

        Not for typical 14

        By Cymbaholic

        from Nashville

Comments about Pearl 20-Strand Bridge Type Snare Drum Wires:

Bought these as I'd always had good experience with Pearl stock snares, and price was right. But these are not for a typical 14" snare drum. At least the ones I got weren't. They were just under 16" from end to end, including the clips. Clearly (in hindsight) the words "bridge type" and "free floating" in the product description were meant to alert me to what I was buying, but I think it could have been clearer. That's OK, I had already ordered a few days later some of the PureSound Custom Pros to try those and to get the free snare side head. Sending the Pearls back.
