I bought these about a month back. I must say I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Everything came in perfect condition and was easy to assemble. The cymbals, bass, and snare sound fantastic, where the toms aren't too great. I'd say replace the heads for those. Aside from that it's a good set for a great price. I also had some issues with the high-hat at first, but after a bit of playing it caught properly and I haven't had issues since.

First time drummer and I am pleased with this set. The Zildjen cymbals packaged with this set are high quality. I can see the reason so many drummers speak so highly of them.
The only thing I would recommend considering in addition to this product is another cymbal boom stand because the Zildjen package includes the two high-hat cymbals, a ride / crash cymbal, and a crash cymbal, meaning that one of the two non-high-hat cymbals will be outside of this kit.

I bought this set when I first wanted to transition from marching instruments to a full set. This set is a great deal; you can't find many 5 piece sets that come with almost all the hardware and cymbals. You get the most bang for your buck. After purchasing it, I replaced the snare, muffled the bass, and purchased a different peddle. These are the only things that could be better about the set. Overall, it's great: I'v been using it for gigs for over 3 years, and it hasn't failed me yet.

Overall this is a perfect beginner set. You'll probaly want to upgrade as you get better at drumming.
I think it is a great kit I like everything but the kick pedal mine is really stiff.
the quality of the set is ok I strongly suggest this kit a to a new drummer. You may want to eventually get new a new crash.
I'm glad I didn't have to get my own hardware and cymbals. I do wish it came wish a second cymbal stand. If you don't want to spend another $500 on hardware and cymbals consider this set.

Defintely replace the heads. I bought mine used and they came with Remo Emporers, which sound sick, by the way. These things can sound amazing if you tune them properly. Right now, mine are low, and they sound like god himself put the thunder inside of them.
The only thing I don't really like is the rack tom mounting hardware. I like to have my toms farther closer to me than it will allow. They're just extremely awkward is all. Nothing that some floating racks won't fix though

Definitely a good value. Just remember to replace the heads.

I bought this drum set a year ago and it hasn't let me down. It is a must buy for any drummer no matter what skill level. The Zildjian ZBT cymbals are excellent, I bought an extra 16 inch crash and an 8 inch splash. The Sound Percussion hardware is sturdy and I can always rely on it to get the job done. I would recommend this drum set to anybody who loves to play drums.
