OVERVIEW

#1 trigger in the world!

The Pintech Acoustic Drum Trigger can be head- or shell-mounted to provide excellent sensitivity and response. A Kwik Klip mounting system insures that the audio jack stays in place, fastened to any tension rod without adhesives. The drum trigger also uses Pintech's exclusive mounting disc that allows the free-floating chamber to move with the drum head without marring it.

Comments about Pintech Acoustic Drum Trigger:

I've attatched these to toms, snares, cymbals and other stuff messing around with them and they pick up great and haven't had any problems with double triggering! The sensitivity is really good on these too.

Perfect

Comments about Pintech Acoustic Drum Trigger:

I honestly see no reason why you would want to buy anything else. I had a $100 Roland trigger on my kick, replaced it with this sucker and it works just as well if not better. Now i can't comment on how long they last as i've only had them for about a week, but right now i am ecstatic with my purchase.

Comments about Pintech Acoustic Drum Trigger:

I bought this drum trigger to use on my acoustic piano for on stage concerts through my main amp on the advice of other reviews here and it's not sensitive enough to pick up the piano even when attached to the inside metal unit, you have to turn your amp all the way up to hear it at all, overall, its good for what its designed for but don't expect it to work on other instruments as other reviews here suggest.

Comments about Pintech Acoustic Drum Trigger:

This trigger does what it was intended to do. No false trigger. Easy to install. I use it on the bass drum with a double pedal and it worked fine. Granted I don't do 32nd double strokes notes on the bass drum. If that is your intention, go with the axis or trick pedal with the triggers option. The down side is that if you have to change the drum head, you have to tear off the double sided tape, clean it of and use a new tape which is included but how many times are you going to change the head anyways.

Triggers are pretty good

By Oklahomabigdog

from Oklahoma

Comments about Pintech Acoustic Drum Trigger:

I think these triggers are great. I think they are a little high for how simple they are. They are not very movable if a drum head has to be replaced. I have no triggering problems at all and no missed triggers or false triggers. Overall I think they are great.

Does its job

By Minthorn

from Colorado

Comments about Pintech Acoustic Drum Trigger:

The trigger works very well. Never false triggering or missed triggering. Its been reliable so far. The only set back is how you attach it to the drum. The ddrum triggers latch on with an easily removable screw on setup while these stick to the bass drum head with an adhesive. As long as you dont break heads too often you should be ok. As a trigger it works very well, just not as convenient. If you dont buy the ddrum proshot, get this.
