Pintech Dingbats Are Not For Dummies

Comments about Pintech Dingbat Tubular Pad:

As I mentioned previously, these have good build quality and excellent sensitivity. Plus you can fit them into nooks and crannies around an acoustic drum kit.
I recently purchased four dingbat tubular pads and am not disappointed. I am running them into an Alternative Mode MIDI KITI controller which is triggering sounds from a Roland R8M. Thanks to the MIDI KITI the sensitivity is excellent and everything seems to be solidly built.
The dingbats look like they're built to handle normal playing for quite a long time. I've used them in a live situation and appreciated the rubberized playing surface, which keeps stick contact noise to a minimum.
Good value. One of the less expensive options for triggering sounds.

Great Addition to any electric set

By Brad Klodowski

Comments about Pintech Dingbat Tubular Pad:

I bought two of these things to use as auxiliary percussion triggers. As it turns out, I really only need one percussion effect per song, and my module is easy to swap them out as needed, so I was left with one useless trigger pad... or so I thought. I got an idea from looking at the Zildjian Zil-bells in my local music shop. I now have the spare one below my crash, to function as another ride bell. This is great, it gives me access to a bell on either side, and I really can do a lot with it!All in all, great product. Only problem I had with it was that the clamp seemed to slip down the shaft of my cymbal stand that it was mounted on, but that was easily fixed by putting a rubber band in the opening, and now it works great. :)

Comments about Pintech Dingbat Tubular Pad:

I got a whole set of these used with 2 snares and i love it! They are small, which is handy for my setup, and they are generally easy to hit.

Can't live without

Comments about Pintech Dingbat Tubular Pad:

I use 4 of these on 2 of my kits (2 live 2 studio). They are used to trigger samples from either side of the kit. These are great and don't take up much space at all. I do use the Hart hammers as well, but tend to favor these for tiggering. I like the fact that its shape allows it to be placed anywhere and not be a bother to the surroundings.

Nice effects trigger pad!

Comments about Pintech Dingbat Tubular Pad:

I have a Roland V-Drums kit, and wanted an additional trigger input I could map percussion effects to. This mounted solidly, can be positioned in-between other pads, and has performed very well! I like the feel of it, and the triggering seems awsome. If I had a couple more inputs, I'd buy acouple more!

Very durable

Comments about Pintech Dingbat Tubular Pad:

Own 2pr. and have loved them. Tracking is good, velocity sensitivity would be a nice addition to an already great product. I'm replacing my TC series cymbals with these, mainly due to construction and reliability.
