Comments about Pintech Dual Zone Concertcast Snare Pad:

I've own the Pintech Dual Zone 12" for a year now.
As for the other reviews, the best thing is to make sensitivity adjustments in whatever drum brain you're using.
I'm using the Roland TD-6. There are a number of settings & options to set it just right, so I can adjust it to my liking.
I'm thinking the other guy didn't do this, didn't have the option or didn't know he could.

    Not Pintech's fault!

There's also sensitivity dials on the drum itself for both the head & rim.

Mine was not triggering completely 100% of the time when I got it, so Pintech sent me 2 additional triggers AND some other stuff as well, all for free, AND paid the shipping to another country, even though they said it might be nothing more than just a 'mask time' setting in the TD-6. They didn't even ask me to try that first.
Now that's what I call service & support above & beyond the call of duty!

Just yesterday, I bought 4 more single zone heads for my toms, and 3 more cymbals.

    All matching Pintech 12" & 10" heads & cymbals.

    My set is now complete!

    Love my dual zone Pintech

Comments about Pintech Dual Zone Concertcast Snare Pad:

I have been using a Pintech dual zone 10" ConcertCast pad as a snare for a couple years. I find it very quiet acoustically, so you can play with people sleeping in another room. I like the feel and the look of the silver vein finish on mine. I also appreciate that you can adjust the volume without having to go into my module. If only you didn't have to use double sided tape to stick the foam to the inside of the head when changing head or foam, these would be perfect.BTW, Pintech support is excellent - helpful, fast and they really know their products and electronic drumming in general.

Can't beat it... actually love to own it!

Comments about Pintech Dual Zone Concertcast Snare Pad:

Very Durable (only issue is that the trigger wires could be better protected but easy fix)The concertcast drums is where it's at! After proper tweaking of the Drum module it's perfect. ghost notes accents. And each drum has it's own 2 knobs that further tweak the head and rim sensitivities...The price you can't wrong .. for the product it's a great buy! I personally like these better than OTHERS I've played. If you don't like the single ply mesh heads (I love em very durable as well) but if your used to Roland... buy roland heads with these drums... perfect match. It seems as other reviewers had problems with module settings. (not a drum issue) and the other comment about triggering is something I haven't encountered. But their customer service is SECOND TO NONE... honeslty. do the research of these drums! I love them. Oh yeah if you go with cymbals you need the visulites... they rock!

    Not very good

    By Rales

    from Fresno, Ca

Comments about Pintech Dual Zone Concertcast Snare Pad:

Bought this from this site. When it came in it didn't have the hardware to mount it to the tom mount. When that got sent to me I saw that the threads were completely stripped out of the hole. I have to use an oversize bolt to hold it on. Also the triggering is spotty alot of the time. Light hits will produce ear splitting sounds, and pounding it sometimes results in little taps. Not very happy with this at all.
