I have the Yamaha DTXplorer and I love to bang the drums in the house along with recorded music. The amp puts out plenty of sound. You will have to play around with the volume controls both on the amp and on the drum module to get things right, but once you do, let the banging begin. Its nice to play and not wear headphones. I know that sometimes my wife wants to hear me play so this amp lets it happen. My amp use is strictly in-house practice and for that, I got what I wanted out of the product.

Great Studio Monitor, Awesome For Home!

Bought this monitor about six months ago and, boy, it still plays like it did right out of the box. Bass levels are excellent, and the sound is crystal clear. Awesome quality for the price. Don't let people tell you that it's bad because the volume isn't that loud. That's why it's called a "personal monitor." This baby will let you hear everything going on on your kit. Other companies may have cheaper stuff, but it can't match the quality shown here. No complaints on this one. Just two words: BUY IT!

If you are looking to amplify your v drums at home or at a small jam session with friends this does the trick. Sounds are clear and crisp just like it sounds with headphones. Has enough bass also to sound like a real drum kit. I couldnt be happier with the sound. The price however is why I didnt give it a 5. But again even though its pricy it sure does sound good.

Nice Drum speaker

If you can't afford a nive PA system and just want a good home use speaker, this thing works pretty nicely.  I used it just for an electronic drumset originally, but found out that acoustic/electric guitars, and voice sounded good out of this thing too, when routed into one line with a mixer.  A little on the expensive side for a small speaker, but it has worked rahter well so far for the two months I've had it (use it everyday).  Wouldn't suggest trying to get a good distortion guitar sound out of it, just stick with acoustics, mics, and the drums.
