Powerful with lots of cut!
The high-powered, high-definition response of the APX Solid Ride Cymbal is crisp, cutting, and clear, with a powerful bell ensuring maximum cut and clarity.
APX, a professional cymbal series, is from award-winning sound innovators: Sabian. The sheer attack of APX cuts through any music. To create this intensity, Sabian introduced new production processes that also result in a unique appearance for these cymbals. Featuring a 'High-Decibel' design APX cymbals sound super-bright, tonally tight, focused, and aggressive beyond belief to rip through rock-heavy grooves and blistering power chords like a laser through darkness. With the APX ride cymbal, nothing gets in your way.
APX ride cymbals are ideal for cutting through the raging guitars, heavy riffing and high-powered output of hard rock and heavy metal bands. Top drummers already playing APX include Ray Luzier (Korn), Neil Sanderson (Three Days Grace), George Kollias (Nile), John Kelly (Type-O Negative), and Rich Beddoe (Finger Eleven).
A metal monster! Order today.

Comments about Sabian APX Solid Ride Cymbal:
I've had the 20" solid ride for about a month now and I am really starting to appreciate it for what it is. It is a very musical pingy ride that cuts through nicely without harshness, and works for a variety of styles. Very little wash, in fact you have to play hard with 7As to get any washiness at all. It has 3 sweet bands between the bell and edge that are easy to find. I am so impressed with this ride that I'm buying the APX solid hats as well, It is a lot of bang for the buck and even sounds better for some things than rides costing twice that amount.
