The ultra-compact Cocktail-JAM Kit is a true TAMA original, in both appearance and sound. With two-bag setup and travel-friendly sizes, this great-sounding four-piece kit fits a fraction of the footprint of a typical drum set. It’s an ideal solution for hip-hop, jazz, and intimate acoustic settings, or for any player negotiating tight rehearsal rooms or stages.

The Cocktail-JAM shell kit is comprised of a 16x6 in. bass drum powering the low end, while two toms (10x5 in. and 14x5.5 in.) add melodic flavor and a punchy 12x5 in. snare drum keeps a rock-solid backbeat. Silverstar’s 100% Birch shells, Sound Arc Hoop and low-mass lugs, are acclaimed for their punchy, focused, and full-bodied sound whether on stage or in the studio.

The bass drum is equipped with an Evans EMAD bass drum head. This single-ply, 10 mm film head gives a fatter, louder, punchier bass drum sound with improved resonance.

The innovative Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping (EMAD) system lets you customize attack and focus from the outside, without the hassle of removing and replacing the drumhead.

The Sound Arc Hoop, has an inward curve to help improve sound projection considerably.

Unlike other cocktail kits, the Cocktail-JAM Kit is designed to offer a range of adjustment that offers the option of standing or sitting on a throne.
