The Toca Jingle-Hit Tambourine with Mount solves a problem drum set and percussion players were having when hitting Toca's mounted tambourines and getting an audible stick sound. On the other side of the stage, hand percussionists were getting bruises on long gigs from repeated tambourine hand slaps.
Toca's solution: the Jingle-Hit Tambourine. This instrument is constructed from six-ply wood fitted with six double rows of jingles that emit a bright, chime-y blend, perfect for a multitude of musical genres. A rubberized rim eliminates stick sounds so you hear only the tambourine's jingles. The rim is also much easier on the hands when used for handheld play. With the included Gibraltar Mount, it will fit on any standard 3/8" post and will find a home in any contemporary drum set or multi-percussion set up. An added plus is the sleek black finish.

It's a great tambourine for the price. It includes a Gibraltar dual post mount which would cost almost this much by itself. I have the 6-inch version which comes in a nice pearl white, not sure what color the 8-inch one is. This tambourine has a very nice sound but it is NOT very loud when mounted. I did not have a chance to try it out before I bought it but it turned out to be much better than expected. I actually was not even looking for a tambourine but I needed a mount for my cowbell so I decided to give this package a try and I am glad I did.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It's exactly what I wanted, my hands are not free to be shaking a tam,
But I do like the sound everyone and then. I can hit it with hand or stick.
Really its great. It's also easy to move around my set up.

This thing is awesome!!!
I have the 6" and I love it! It's been 6 months since I bought it still sounds and looks great... I just wish it came in black to match my set but thats okay!
At first, I had it mounted on my cymbal stand along with a 10" tom and it would jingle when I hit the tom, so I moved it to my ride cymbal stand it doesn't jingle at all, even though its only about an inch above my 16" floor tom!!!
I use it as accents and sometimes, I use it kinda like a hi-hat!!!
Very good product for the price!!! Buy it!!!

Nice little add-on for any kit. The rubber allows for jingle without "stick sound." Volume is great. Will mount on top of hi-hat and also comes with hardware (clamp) to mount elsewhere (cymbal stand, etc.) Nice product.

we had this tamborine on a tom stand w/ a cowbell,and a jam blockat our school band. the tamborine is awesome!!!!! the only problem is rhat it came loose after a few songs still. Buy it! you wont regret it.

I just got this little beauty in the 6-inch and it's a nice add-on to my set. I gave it "4" ratings because I haven't really tested it yet for durability. The one I received has a nice pearl finish (reminiscent of Buddy Rich). I have a black TAMA set and it accents it nicely with a good, solid attachment bracket. It sounds real nice so far and the rubber edging cushions your blow. I recommend this product.

For the money this is a pretty good buy. I have it mounted and it is holding up quite well. The description says that it mounts to a 3/8" post, then later says it comes with the mount that is shown...BOTH are true. It can mount to your hi-hat AND it does come shipped with the GIBRALTAR dual post cymbal stand mount that is shown with it. I had trouble confirming this before ordering it, so I hope this will help those still trying to confirm it comes with the hardware. I am happy with this purchase.

I bought one these 3 years ago and finally broke it. I went and bought another one just like it and played one song with it and it broke. I wouldn't recommend one of these at all, another piece of junk!!!
