Love these sticks! I like the size, just in the 5-a,5-b area.... The paint/coating is perfect, just smooth enough without slipping! Wouldn't recommend the nylon tips though, break more often then the wood tips. (tried both)

It doesn't matter if Buddy Rich approved this stick or not. It's not going to turn his grave over. This is an awesome stick, and it will not cease to be seen. I have been using these sticks for 6 years. I have never broken a pair of these, believe it or not. And I still have every pair I've used over the years. As far as the stick detailing, this is a great in-between stick for the 5A and 5B. It has a heavier butt than the 5A, but is lighter than the 5B. In addition, I've always favored sticks with a longer neck because it fits the fulcrum point in my hand. I dig the white stick. It looks sexy. haha. The visual side, it looks great. On stage, if you're a trickster, the crowd will definitely see that stick in the air. Rimshot, great. Bounce off of head, awesome. Strongly recommend this stick.

Not sure where the white paint theme came from. Saw Buddy on TV many times. Never saw anything white.
Having said that, these are the best sticks I have ever used.
For jazz drummers or drummers who like a lot of double stick action, these have no equal.
The only way to improve these is make a lighter maple version

I have used for over 10 year and no change. They have good weight, feel good
and spectacular in any snare rign shot. Plem recommend it.

First thing is I have seen several Buddy Rich DVD's and I have never seen him using this sticks. When exactly did Buddy approve these? I think the stick have very good balance. I have other signatures but I keep coming back to these. It's like a 5A with a thicker neck. The tip is unusual something in between an acorn and a round tip. It works really well

I needed a new pair of sticks because my old sticks broke.I thought would be like any other sticks breaking within the first year and all but these have lasted me a long time.Best money I've ever spent.

These sticks were the best feeling sticks when I got them. I loved them. UNTIL THEY BROKE!!! These were absolutely the worst investment. i got them on my birthday and they broke a little less than a month later. Take my word and dont buy these sticks. Buy some pro-mark 5A sticks instead. Ive had those for many months and they still are in perfect condition.

I got these for Christmas one year because I was a fan of Buddy and have been playing them now for three years. They feel great and look good. The only time I use another stick is when my last pair of these break which takes quite a while. Definitely a good buy.
