The Yamaha TH-945B is a 3-hole receiver with 2 tom arms that is designed to fit into the base of a separate drum stand. The receiver turns a single stand into a double tom stand. The 2 tom arms are designed to fit Yamaha's YESS (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System) mounting system.

I had a hard time finding the info, but the rod that mounts in to the bass drum is 7/8". This fit very nicely in to my vintage 8000 series Yamaha drum set. I was able to bring my toms in much closer and tigther than with the floor mount double tom stand I had. Quality and craftsmanship seem solid. Exactly what I was looking for!
