Zildjian ZBT cymbals employ sound grooves and round hammer strikes in a simple circular pattern on their top surface to magnify the basic sound of the distinctive ZBT alloy. The ZBT Crash is a splendid fast crash with a bright high-pitched tone. The ZBT China is fast, bright, and trashy--ideal for special accents and musical exclamation points. Bold and colorful with an explosive attack, fast decay and plenty of volume to cut through the music.
The bright, intense, high-pitched sound of the ZBT series cymbals cuts through the mix of other instruments. Sheet origin and precision lathing techniques create high-volume projection that speaks quickly and brightly with a rapid decay. Since ZBT cymbals are pressed and lathed from sheets of uniform, high-quality bronze alloy, they are remarkably consistent. The highly polished, brilliant finish looks fresh. I purchased this for the price. And I was pretty pleased. The only thing about it is that the 18" crash sounds higher than my 16" zbt crash, but the china blew my mind. For something so cheap I cant get enough of its amazing sound.

Thies cymbals are alright I guess. The china is really loud and its ear piercing. I have heard some choppy sounding cymbals before, but I recommend ear plugs for this. I actualy like the crash cymbal. It has a nice shimmering sound to it. Although it is not very loud. The crash will break after about a year, most likley less. They are not of the greatest quality, but they will do. You get what you pay for them after all.
