      A dramatic-sounding cymbal you'll never tire of using. A great all-purpose ride!

The sound grooves and round hammer strikes in a simple circular pattern on the top surface of the Zildjian ZBT China Cymbals magnify the percussion sounds of the distinctive ZBT alloy. The ZBT China is fast, bright, and trashy—ideal for special accents and musical exclamation points. Bold and colorful with an explosive attack, fast decay, and plenty of volume to cut through the music, the Zildjian China cymbal is a superb all-purpose ride cymbal.

The bright, intense, high-pitched sound of the ZBT series cymbals cuts through the mix of other instruments. Sheet origin and precision lathing techniques create high-volume projection that speaks quickly and brightly with a rapid decay. Since ZBT cymbals are pressed and lathed from sheets of uniform, high-quality bronze alloy, they are remarkably consistent. The highly polished, brilliant finish looks fresh. Excellent, clean stick articulation with controlled overtones. ZBT-Plus cymbals take Zildjian Bronze Technology up a notch with advanced hammering and lathing, and enhanced sound for versatility, musicality, and professional performance.

Tired of your ride? Dissatisfied with your crash? You need a China cymbal, my man. Order this one and try it out in your array for cheap.

After reading all of the reviews, I'm astounded at all the negative feedback. When I first got this cymbal, I wasn't very fond of it, but after it broke in, the sound grew on me. I didn't like it much for breakdowns, but the rest of my band adores the sound. I use it more for accents then anything. Its loud, and has a long ring to it, but if your not at the set, you can't hear the long ring. It's got a bright attack and is very loud, but I s'pose thats okay if you play your music loud, right? As for the resonance, it adds a nice, unique sound different from other china

ZBT cymbals hold up very nicley. I cant see how someone can brake one of these things. On the other hand, their sound is terrible. Trust me when I say this, get Paiste PST 5 or PST 3 cymbals. They have a wider veriety of sounds, are the same price if not less, and they sound AMAZING!! I asked some employees at Guitar Center about which entery and intermideate cymbals are better between Paiste and Zildjian. They said Paiste doesnt have entery level cymbals, they all sound amazing, even the cheaper ones. STAY AWAY FROM ZBT ALL TOGETHER! GET PST 3 OR PST 5!!!!!!!!!!

      18

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I've never owned one of these, but I've both used and heard the 18" and 16" both live and in the studio, and heard other people using them. The 18" produces a sound I only describe as "KRANG", with an irritatingly long sustain (and I like a longer china sustain than most). It gets no better out front in a band, even in the full mix it doesn't lose any of the horrible overtones. The 16" on the other hand might just be the best value for money china around (considering Wuhans often break easily). It's a lot trashier and quicker than the 18", and really does sound fantastic in the full mix. It's still a bit more gong than trash, but that's to expected with a B8 cymbal. If money is tight for a china, the 16" is certainly a great option. If you have the money I'd go for something a bit more high end like an Avedis china high though, which have more trash and durability as well.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

It has a nice trashy sound (especially once you break it in) if you like that. My experience with breaking 3 zbts (all crashes), made me surprised when this outlasted the crashes. I still have it now. If you can, stay away from zbt, but the sound is actually okay... wish it had less ring to it though. Not bad for the price

      ZBT china

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

Wow! this china has a great sound to it, the china has a long decay just the way i like it. The china cuts through the music like a hot knife through butter. I have the 18 inch so yeah its pretty loud. I am planning of getting another one but this time a 16 inch.

      Epic China

      By SicSociophobiac

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

This china really is amazing. Some people complain about how responsive and trashy it is, but that's exactly what I look for in a china. It cuts through everything, and it doesn't take a falcon punch to get it to explode. Makes for a really good breakdown.

      Pretty good.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I wouldn't say it is the best china for a trashy sound if that's wat ur looking for and yes it is EXTREMELY loud bot i taped a small piece of duct tape to the edge and now if i hit it hard enough its trashy. :)

      does the job...kinda

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I got this cymbal in a pack, and when i got it out it was pretty sweet looking, when i played it i knew it was very loud and touchy. like if you nicked the thing it would explode.also the thing that made me mad about this china is, i had it for two and a half months to three months then cracked. so i wouldn't buy this china, i would look at wuhans. but if you do get it in a pack, then i would stay with it till it breaks...three months later

      Stay away!!!

Comments about Zildjian ZBT China Cymbal:

I got this cymbal about 3 years ago in a cymbal kit. It really sucks. It is extremely loud and cuts through absolutely everything. It has a nice china sound if you like a lot of ring but it cuts in a really bad way. Im not a zildjian hater and since i bought this cymbal i have bought 2 of zildjians upper line cymbals and I absolutely love them. If you want a really good deal I would stick with either a high end china or a Wuhon
