I like this cymbal a lot! It soounds almost like a chin cymbal, but it is more drawn out and warmer. I highly recomend this cymbal to anyone with my experience and anyone who likes cool cymbals

Comments about Zildjian ZHT EFX (No Jingles) Cymbal:

this cymbal looks and sounds great but after a while it will crack. All cymbals EXCEPT for the rides, will crack if you beat them hard. This one sounds awesome but it crack on my friend after just 7 months of use even though he hits hard, but other then that, it will be good if you dont beat it so hard.

Comments about Zildjian ZHT EFX (No Jingles) Cymbal:

When i first bought this cymbal i thought it was going to be pretty cool and it was. 3 weeks later i realize that i had several cracks and i wasnt very happy about that. I beat pretty hard so ima try out the A custom EFX 16 or the K EFX 16.

Comments about Zildjian ZHT EFX (No Jingles) Cymbal:

I bought this cymbal at a local music shop since I couldn't afford anything else. I was quite amazed with the sound and the design. About 6 months of playing with this it started cracking in the oblong holes but sounded better yet! Great cymbal over all even now!

Not durable enough

Comments about Zildjian ZHT EFX (No Jingles) Cymbal:

I've had mine for about 6 months. It seems to bend and warp every time you hit it. Just tonight when I was playing I noticed that the cymbal had cracked in two places. Not a good choice if you mean to use it often.

Comments about Zildjian ZHT EFX (No Jingles) Cymbal:

I got the 16" in a local store and I love it! With a stick it has a decent sound, but with brushes it's a wonderfully dark ride sound. When you play with brushes, it sounds like one of those expensive dark rides for an unbelieveably low price. If you go for jazz or that sort of thing, I say buy this cymbal.

Comments about Zildjian ZHT EFX (No Jingles) Cymbal:

I bought this cymbal in 18in. a year ago and love it. It has a dark trashy sound with some ring and sustain. It does not decay fast, somewhat like a china with ring. For the price I am highly satified and plan to purchase this cymbal in the A custom version .

Comments about Zildjian ZHT EFX (No Jingles) Cymbal:

I picked this cymbal up about a month ago in a local drum store. I got it in the 16in. version. I was fairly happy with the sound of the cymbal at first. It has a funky hybrid crash/china sound, more crash than china. I used it to add a little flavor in my tom rolls and for blast beats in a song that my band wrote. It sounded really good until it cracked. There is a 1/4 crack coming down off of one of the oblong holes. Now it sounds like crap. I am going to try to get Zildjian to replace it so I can give it to my brother. I personally prefer the sound of the Sabian AAX O-Zone cmybal it is a little more thrashy. It is more of a china with the ring of a crash. I am going to replace this cymbal with the Sabian HHX Evolution O-Zone crash. I would not recomend this cymbal to anyone that hits hard or plays heavy music.
