A fresh voice in hi-hat cymbals!
Adds a fresh dynamic to your kit with Zildjian ZHT Mini Hi-Hats. Particularly good for hip-hop, drum 'n bass, and electronica. Designed in cooperation with Marco Minneman.
For their ZHT series Zildjian chose Ultimate Sheet Bronze, an alloy with a higher tin content for enhanced low- and mid-frequencies. This extraordinarily musical metal is combined with ultra-modern manufacturing techniques and extensive hammering to create value-priced cymbals with sounds that are both modern and traditional.

I bought these to add to my cymbal sounds (I am a cymbal addict)thinking they would be fun. Well, they're a lot more than fun. They fit in great with splashes & the K mini-china. Equally as loud too! I am loving having them!
First of all, dismiss any comments you may have heard on the limited projection power of these musical beauties. High pitched, singing, exact and cutting, the ZHT mini-hats are truly a useful tool in the kit of any drummer's genre. I would not recommend having these as your main hi-hat pair however, that is, unless your seeking the precision edge that these would supply in a recording situation. Bright and musical, these are perfect for electronica, drum n' bass or metal effects, you will marvel at its versatility and application possibilities.
You may think that just because their small there not that great, but i was curious and bought some and just got them today. These cymbals will make you laugh when you see them, but when you play they cut through every sound of your set, the only thing was thatthey may not be so loud as to say play in a concert, but mike them and your good to go. Give them a try, you cant go wrong with these!
if you're like me, trying to expand you're cymbal sounds, then these are just what you need. ever since i played these at my local drum store, they're all i want. they may not be the highest quality hi hats, but they are by far the most fun over any others i've played. i'm saving up for a pair and a DW 9000 Series Remote Hi-Hat. once again, i would recommend this to anyone trying to get new sounds out of their kit.
