Features:

Beautiful guitar, hand delivered half way around the world to my doorstep!

Quality:

Demo guitar-unmarked,needed some new strings...too easy!

Value:

Sensational value....I am from down under...would have cost as much as the guitar to ship it down here.

Overall:

The Fender resonator guitar was almost in tune when I took it outa the cardboard box!

Very solid instrument perfect (almost) intonation, action set well. And stays in tune when hammered!

Attention to detail throughout, finish, fittings and electrics/pick-ups very responsive.

I've had my new fender resonator for a few weeks now.  It sounds really nice and it looks great.  The issue that I have is I bought it for learning some slide songs.  However the action is way too low and I have no idea on how to raise the action??.  The pickups sound okay but once you but once you hit the distortion you get massive feedback.  Also it doesnt come with a case?? Come on for 600+ you should give a case fender.  But all that being said I'm keeping the guitar.  If you like low action and easy access to the higher frets than this is a really decent guitar.  Would be nice to have a front strap knob but you will have to tie your strap to the headstock.

After doing a very serious search for a resonator electric guitar, I read the reviews on this one and ordered it. I was amazed at the beauty of it. It was love at first site. After tunning it, I was more amazed. Such a great sound for a not so big guitar. It is everything I wanted in a round neck cutaway resonator guitar. I tried several open tunnings with it and used a slide, whow it blew me away. The electronic's are great too, you can make this thing sound like an electric, a dobro or an acoustic. This guitar covers a big spectrum. I took it to a gig last night and everyone loved it. I have only had mine for a week, but it seems to be well made. I'll let you know after a year or so, how well it stands up. I think if you every pick one up and play with it, you will agree with all the reviews too. Thank's and happy picking's   "BUSTER"

my first impression was that it looked and sounded cheap. but when I got it out of the store and home and then to a gig, my mind was changed. Great value for the money. sounds great through PA and through my tweed blues junior with boss 59 bassman pedal and boss compressor.

Have been looking at the Fender FR50CE for some time.  Played quite a few and liked each one.  Finally popped for one for a studio project and it blew down the doors!  Great tone, great action.  Nice fit/finish on the frets.  Pickups were nice and the controls worked great.  Natural acoustic tone was so nice we just miked it up.  Great value.  Much better guitar than the Gibson Hounddog - feature and fit/finish.  Have used both and there's no comparison.  Definately a great purchase - I'll have this one for quite a while.
