Gibson RB-3 Wreath Banjo  

I would say that the new Gibson RB-3 Wreath is superb! Even though the look of the banjo is different than the original RB-3, it still has the same tone that many banjo players have gotten out of the original banjo. For those of you, who have wanted to get the original RB-3 but, missed out, this is the perfect banjo for you!

I bought this RB-3W last June and I haven't put the thing down yet. In fact, the way things are going, I don't think I'll put it down ever! About the only thing an owner can say is, it's a Mastertone, you simply can't go wrong. It's worth every penny. The resonance, tone, and volume of this instrument is something you've got to treat yourself to - just do it! I'm a beginning player, well, I WAS a beginning player until I started playing this thing. It's motivated me to improve my playing like nothing else ever could. In the last 9 months my playing has improved several orders of magnitude. I also own an Alverez I bought 35 years ago and it sounds like something you'd buy a 9 year-old for a birthday compared to this instrument.
