Comments about Hering Black Blues Harmonica:

I switched from Lee O's to Hering about 10 years ago. There were at the time the best built and sounding harps on the market. Just handling one side by side to a Lee O you'll fine an incredible difference in weight and quality. Never ever blew a reed like I did with Horners and Lee O's! Now they quit making them...gonna try a Seydel next, ...
hear great things about them. The parts availability is a joke...the parts are almost the same price as a new harp...why bother???? Get a new one!

Nice start and sound but not durable and no repair parts...
Hey.. a gift from a buddy trying to get me off the OSCARS... and I like SP 20s too... This black box started out nice... louder than most when you wanted it and nice bends... I play a lot and know about breaking in the reeds... but I lost a 6 draw in about 4 sessions with this A harp and there is no replacement reeds ... It still looks brand new but it is worthless.... I won't do these again. Karlos

              The Only Harp for Me

Comments about Hering Black Blues Harmonica:

I was not that familiar with Hering, but I do have trouble with nickel harps. (Allergic reaction on my mouth.)so I decided to give this a try. I was using the Pro Harp, but I find this harp to be louder and easier to bend. (It's less money too)Black Blues is the only harp I play now.

              Don't Last

Comments about Hering Black Blues Harmonica:

I purchased several of the Hering Black Blues harps a couple of months ago. Upon opening the box, one wouldn't even bend properly and they've all blown reeds recently. If you're serious about your playing, these don't hold up. I'll be sticking with Special 20's.
